The neo-Romanesque Schloss Seeburg stands on the southern shore of Starnberger See, featuring towers, turrets, a keep, and a chapel within its complex.
Built in 1889 by contractor Heinrich Hoech as Schloss Biberkor, the castle received its current name in 1902 when industrialist Peter Göring acquired and renovated it.
The castle represents late 19th-century aristocratic architecture in Bavaria and maintains its status as a protected cultural monument under designation D-1-73-137-62.
The property now serves as a center for youth activities, managed by the Christian organization 'Wort des Lebens e.V.' under rental agreement with the Free State of Bavaria.
Friedrich von Thiersch designed a boathouse for the castle in 1902, complemented by concrete boundary pillars and two decorative lion sculptures along the shoreline.
