Schloss Markt Wald

Schloss Markt Wald is a noble residence with three floors and a cubic footprint, defined by two round corner towers and a central round staircase tower on the south side. The structure appears compact and defensive, displaying classic Renaissance architectural elements.

The palace was built in 1477 for Konrad von Riedheim and represents early Renaissance architecture in the region. After damage during the Peasants' War in 1525, it underwent major reconstruction in 1536.
