Gebläsehalle

The Gebläsehalle is an industrial building with thick brick walls built within the former Ilseder Hütte ironworks. Inside it features a large open space without supporting columns, making it suitable for various events.

The hall was built in the late 1800s as part of the Ilseder Hütte, one of the region's major iron production facilities. It was specifically designed to house the blast furnace equipment and related manufacturing processes.

The name comes from the blast furnace equipment that once operated here to power iron production. Today visitors experience concerts and exhibitions in the space, keeping the industrial past alive through cultural events.

The venue is located between Hannover and Braunschweig in Lower Saxony and is relatively easy to reach. Visitors should note it is a large industrial space, so comfortable footwear is recommended for exploring.

Despite its industrial past, the hall was completely renovated and repurposed without losing its original architectural form. This transformation shows how old factory buildings can serve contemporary purposes while preserving their history.
