RheinMain CongressCenter, convention centre and event venue in Wiesbaden, Germany
The RheinMain CongressCenter is a convention center in Wiesbaden designed to host conferences, trade shows, and gatherings. The facility contains about 45 different spaces, including two large halls that can be divided by movable walls to accommodate events of varying sizes and formats.
This building replaced the Rhein-Main-Hallen, which were built in the 1950s with a foundation stone laid in 1956. The new structure was constructed between 2014 and 2018 and opened in April 2018 after the older building was demolished.
The name refers to the Rhein-Main region, which encompasses the area between Frankfurt and Mainz where Wiesbaden is located. Visitors experience a space where local and regional identity meets contemporary event culture.
The center is located downtown and is easily accessible by car, with a parking garage offering about 800 spaces directly at the building. Access is clearly marked and staff are available to assist visitors with directions and questions about navigating the various spaces.
The building holds the highest sustainability certification, platinum status under German environmental standards. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the center was temporarily converted into a vaccination site that operated from late 2020 through September 2021.
