Gut Wulfshagen, Manor estate and coffeehouse in Tüttendorf, Germany
Gut Wulfshagen is a country estate with a Dutch Baroque manor house flanked by two single-story structures that form a courtyard. Four large barns arranged in parallel complete the working farm layout.
Magdalena von Thienen founded the estate in 1673 and Andreas Pauli von Liliencron built the manor house in 1699. The property then developed into a significant working operation in the region.
The manor is experienced by visitors as the heart of a working estate where traditional rural life and craftsmanship remain visible today. The coffeehouse in a former schoolhouse connects the history of estate workers with the current gathering place for guests.
The coffeehouse is open Thursday and Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. The estate is located on Wulfshagen street and is easily accessible by car.
Several buildings on the property date from the 18th century with thatched roofs and half-timbered construction, including a notably large barn structure. A distinctive yellow stone cow house was built in 1830 and represents a later building phase.
