Alter Friedhof

Alter Friedhof is a large cemetery in Offenbach am Main featuring a central avenue lined with plane trees and sections organized for different types of burials. The grounds are defined by structured grave zones that reflect the facility's growth and development over more than a century.

Established in 1832 after the city outgrew its churchyard, the cemetery expanded significantly in 1860 to accommodate growing burial needs. Distinctive entrance buildings constructed in 1882 remain defining features of the grounds today.
