Founded in 1998 by German neuropediatrician Hansjörg Schneble and his son Hans-Martin, the museum holds 300 scientific books from the 17th to 19th centuries.
The museum displays paintings and sculptures created by individuals affected by epilepsy, illustrating their experiences through artistic expression.
Located near the Epilepsy Center Kork, the museum opens on Sundays from 2 PM to 5 PM and offers guided tours by appointment.
The German Epilepsy Museum received the Sibylle Ried Prize from the Michael Foundation in 2005 for its educational contributions.
