Weißtannenturm

Weißtannenturm is a wooden observation tower in Kehl that rises 44 meters high with multiple viewing platforms at different levels. From these platforms, visitors can see the Rhine River and the surrounding landscape in all directions.

The structure was built in 2021 and demonstrates modern German engineering combined with traditional wooden construction methods. It represents the latest addition to the region's infrastructure.

The name comes from the European silver fir tree, creating a direct link to the region's natural environment. The wooden construction was chosen to honor this botanical connection.
