Jagdschloss Haideburg, Gothic hunting lodge in Dessau-Roßlau, Germany
The rectangular two-story brick building features two octagonal corner towers on the eastern side and a five-story northeast tower with a decorated spire.
Prince Leopold III Friedrich Franz of Anhalt-Dessau commissioned architect Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff to construct this hunting lodge between 1782 and 1783.
The structure represents early German romantic ruin architecture and incorporates neo-Gothic elements including pointed arches, battlements, and castle-like features.
Located at Heidebrückenweg 28 in Haideburg, the lodge currently functions as a forest management office with limited public access during special events.
The building's southwest extension, added in 1903, incorporates a distinctive ruin gable positioned between two octagonal towers with medieval-inspired design elements.
