Schloss Pullach, Architectural heritage monument in Kolbermoor, Germany.
Schloss Pullach is a four-sided castle complex in Kolbermoor composed of two-story structures with slate roofs, a western tower, and an eastern projection featuring a hipped roof. The buildings form a unified ensemble arranged around a central courtyard.
The castle traces its origins to 1430 when it was first recorded under the Auer family. A major redesign occurred between 1880 and 1887 by the Knights of Poschinger, who gave the building its current character.
The Orthodox chapel within the grounds reflects a personal connection to the Saxon family who shaped the castle's modern story. Visitors can still spot this religious space, which formed part of the estate's private heritage.
The castle now houses a technology company following comprehensive renovations completed in the late 1990s. Its private status means visitors can explore the exterior grounds but should not expect open access to all interior spaces.
Traces of the original water moat remain visible, though portions were filled in after 1945. The grounds with their century-old trees preserve echoes of the castle's former defensive character.
