Kolbermoor

Kolbermoor is a municipality in the Bavarian district of Rosenheim, sitting between the neighboring towns of Rosenheim and Bad Aibling. The settlement lies in a landscape shaped by hills and river valleys and feels like a quiet Bavarian center with residential neighborhoods, industrial zones, and green spaces along the Mangfall river.

A railway station for the Bavarian Maximilian's Railway was built here in 1859 and gave the settlement a decisive boost. Over the course of the 20th century, the municipality grew considerably through the establishment of industry and the incorporation of neighboring areas.
