Schloss Bruckberg

Schloss Bruckberg is a castle with two main stories featuring three wings connected by mansard roofs and a central gabled section. The courtyard side shows a distinctive three-story rise in the gabled portion.

This castle originated from a fortified structure first documented in 1253 when it served as a seat for a noble family. During the 1700s it housed an industrial operation before being acquired by a religious organization in 1891.

The name Schloss Bruckberg comes from its location above the Haselbach valley and its former residents who served as Imperial officials. Today you can see the classical structure that reflects this noble heritage.

The castle now serves as a nursing residence and is not open for public tours since it operates as a care facility. Visitors should check ahead to learn if any special viewing opportunities exist.

From 1763 to 1808 the castle housed a porcelain workshop that produced fine ceramic goods. This industrial phase was an important chapter in the estate's economic story.
