Schloss Bruckberg, Castle and nursing home in Bruckberg, Germany
Schloss Bruckberg features a two-story structure with three wings, mansard roofs, and a central gabled section rising three stories on the courtyard side.
The castle originated from a fortified structure first mentioned in 1253 as the seat of the Imperial Ministeriales family of Bruckberg above the Haselbach valley.
Between 1837 and 1861, the south wing of the castle served as residence for philosopher Ludwig Feuerbach, who married into the Löw family.
The castle now functions as a residential care facility operated by the Neuendettelsau Deaconess Institute, which acquired the property in 1891.
From 1763 to 1808, the castle housed a porcelain manufacturing facility before being sold to entrepreneur Christian Friedrich Löw.
