Holy Trinity Church

Holy Trinity Church is a red brick building with a three-story western tower and side chapel sections, designed according to neo-Gothic principles of the Eisenach Regulation. The interior features a clear, structured layout typical of Protestant church architecture from the late 1800s.

The building was designed in 1892 by architect August Albes and was originally called Lutherkirche. It received its current name, Holy Trinity Church, in 1957 as part of a renaming by the congregation.

The church serves the local Protestant community as a place for worship and gathering, reflecting their spiritual values through its architecture and interior spaces. Visitors can observe how the congregation uses the space for religious ceremonies and community events.

The church is located at Martin-Luther-Strasse 1 in Eschweiler and is accessible from the public street. The building underwent comprehensive renovations to its tower and interior spaces during 2022 and 2023, so the interior is in good condition.

The church houses an organ built in 1990 in the North German Baroque style, which replaced two earlier instruments that were lost or removed over the years. This current instrument shapes the sound of music during services today.
