Kleinseebacher Mühle, Historical mill in Möhrendorf, Germany.
Kleinseebacher Mühle is a historical mill in Möhrendorf located on the left bank of the Regnitz River and equipped with three water wheels. These wheels formerly powered both flour production and sawing operations.
The building was first recorded in 1368 and underwent major reconstruction in 1803. During the 18th century, it was converted to manufacture bronze powder.
From 1993 to 2016, the mill operated as a theater venue where up to 300 spectators gathered for performances and cultural events. This chapter transformed the building into a significant center for artistic activities in the area.
The building currently houses private residences and commercial spaces, located about half a kilometer east of Kleinseebach village. Since it is privately owned, visitors can only view it from outside.
In 1836, the Fischer family from Erlangen converted the building into a foil and mirror factory, which led locals to call it 'Die Fabrik'. This name became so ingrained that people still use it today.
