Construction of this church began in the late 1100s and was dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The building took decades to complete, reflecting its importance as a religious center for the surrounding area.
The interior features religious imagery and regional symbols painted onto the ceiling by a local artist in the late 1500s. These decorations reflect the artistic traditions that developed in this area over centuries.
