Schloss See, Heritage castle in See district, Niesky, Germany

The castle extends over two floors with 15 window axes and features a mansard hipped roof with a central granite-framed entrance portal.

Johann Heinrich Gottfried von Nostitz und Jänkendorf constructed the castle in 1783, followed by ownership transfers to Peter Graf von Hohenthal and the Counts of Lippe.

The building evolved from an aristocratic residence to a retirement home between 1945 and 1990, reflecting the social changes in East Germany after World War II.

The castle and its surrounding park remain in private ownership, with no current public access permitted to the building or grounds.

An English landscape garden extends to the south of the castle, complementing the architectural design of this late 18th-century structure.
