The village church structure incorporates a long rectangular choir, a tall western cross tower, and three round pillars dividing the nave into two aisles.
Built in the second half of the 13th century, the church transformed from a single-nave structure into a two-aisled hall during early 16th-century modifications.
The church interior contains ribbed vaults adorned with male busts identified as apostles, created by a Berlin workshop around 1520.
Visitors can explore the church during Sunday afternoons between April and October, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The western choir vault preserves fragments of a wall painting depicting Saint Mark, discovered during renovations in 1957.
