Regina-Palast is a movie theater in Reudnitz on Dresdner Straße and screens both mainstream films and independent productions. The venue serves the eastern district of the city with a varied program for cinema-goers.

The Regina-Palast opened in 1929 on Dresdner Straße in Reudnitz, designed in the New Objectivity style with a brick facade and a projecting marquee. It served the eastern districts as a neighborhood cinema through the GDR era, when it was renamed and later run as a state-owned theater. After 1990 it continued as a repertory and arthouse cinema, and the auditorium was divided and later restored.

The Regina-Palast opened in 1929 as a Lichtspielhaus with around 600 seats, built for the growing eastern districts. Its name refers to a regent, and the auditorium keeps a stage in front of the screen, a remnant of the silent-film era when live accompaniment was played there. Today it shows repertory and arthouse films alongside new releases.

The Regina-Palast stands at Dresdner Straße 64 in Reudnitz, reachable by tram line 4 from the city centre to the Reudnitz stop. The entrance is at street level, but the auditorium is reached by stairs, so wheelchair users face limited access. Seats in the front rows sit closest to the screen in the smaller hall.

The theater offers a special series called 'Sonntagsfilm um 5' where films are shown again after their initial run. This program gives viewers a second chance to catch popular movies they might have missed during the regular theatrical window.
