Saint Nicholas Church, Medieval church in Ehrenfriedersdorf, Germany.
Saint Nicholas Church features a rectangular chancel tower with shooting holes and a tall spire added in 1629 atop its saddle roof.
The construction of this two-aisled hall church began in 1280, with round arch windows dating from 1507 and subsequent modifications through centuries.
The interior contains a large wing altar created between 1507 and 1512 by Master H.W., displaying sculptures of Madonna and saints.
The church, located at Obere Kirchstraße 11, maintains regular services and functions as a community center for religious ceremonies.
The building houses eleven bells cast by Wolfgang Hilliger in 1569, plus two additional bells from 1543 and 1430 in the chancel tower.
