The castle consists of a two-story plaster building with a mansard roof located east of the Erlenbad-Lauf road in Baden-Württemberg.
The castle underwent construction between 1720 and 1730, followed by a neo-Gothic extension in 1835, which was later removed during renovations in 1972.
The property changed ownership multiple times, with notable residents including Freiherr Ludwig von Gallahan and television presenter Dieter Thomas Heck from 1986 to 2009.
