In der Erbach bei Mörlenbach is a protected nature reserve featuring meadows, water bodies, and wooded sections that provide habitat for local wildlife and vegetation. The site contains wetland areas along a stream where specialized plant communities thrive in moist conditions.

The Erbach valley and its adjoining slopes were placed under protection on 11 December 1997 under the reserve code 1431027, within the Bergstraße-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park. The aim was to safeguard the moisture-bound valley with its wet meadows, reed beds, sedge stands, scrub, orchard meadows and woodland.

The reserve lies in the Geo-Naturpark Bergstraße-Odenwald, and its name comes from the Erbach stream that runs straight northwest through the side valley, passes under the B 38 and empties into the Weschnitz at Klein-Breitenbach. The protected area is bordered by the L 3120 to the south and the L 3409 to the northeast.

The reserve lies northeast of Mörlenbach in the Weschnitztal, framed by the L 3120 to the south and the L 3409 to the northeast. The Erbach flows northwest through the side valley, passes under the B 38 and reaches the Weschnitz at Klein-Breitenbach. The area belongs to the Geo-Naturpark Bergstraße-Odenwald.

The Erbach flows straight northwest out of the reserve, passes under the B 38, crosses an industrial estate and empties into the Weschnitz near Klein-Breitenbach. The reserve lies within the Geo-Naturpark Bergstraße-Odenwald.
