Hoftheater Dresden

Hoftheater Dresden is a theater venue housed in a converted barn building on a historical three-sided farm in the Weißig district. The structure preserves its original agricultural architecture while regularly hosting theatrical performances and musical events.

The venue was established in 1995 when German actor Rolf Hoppe converted a historical barn into a performance space. This transformation gave new purpose to an old agricultural structure while preserving its original architectural character.

The theater draws audiences interested in discovering local artists and innovative productions. It fosters connections between visitors and performers who take the stage throughout the year.

The venue is located in an accessible area with adequate space for visitors. Group bookings are available, and special arrangements can be made for celebrations during the Advent season.

The theater features a certified ventilation system that continuously circulates fresh air during performances. This specialized system was developed and tested by the Society for Theater Technology.
