St. Albanus, Catholic church in Schkeuditz, Germany.

St. Albanus stands on Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße and is a Catholic church building in Schkeuditz with a notably tall spire. The structure displays 19th-century architectural features, including a well-proportioned tower and traditional stone masonry.

Catholics settled again in Schkeuditz in the 19th century, and services were held in rented rooms and inns, from about 1883 in the Lindenhof on Bahnhofstraße. In 1898 the parish bought Weststraße 5, where a one-class Catholic school opened on 1 May 1898. A plot on the Friedrichstraße was acquired, and in 1904 the St.-Albanus-Kirche was built onto the mission house there and blessed on 24 July 1904; the tower was added later.

The church is named after Saint Alban of Mainz, not the English protomartyr. Since 2010 it has belonged to the parish of St. Franziskus based in Halle (Saale), and it is the southeasternmost church in the Halle deanery of the Diocese of Magdeburg. Around 600 Catholics belonged to the Schkeuditz parish before it was dissolved.

The church continues to host regular religious services, weddings, and musical events throughout the year for the community. Visitors should check ahead for available tour times and open visiting hours, as access can vary depending on scheduled activities.

The church was added in 1904 to a mission house begun on Friedrichstraße in 1902, and was blessed on 24 July 1904; the tower was added later. From 1898 the same grounds had held a one-class Catholic school, opened on 1 May.
