Gutshaus Diedersdorf, Manor house in Diedersdorf, Germany
Gutshaus Diedersdorf is a manor house in Brandenburg with distinctive features from the early 1800s. The rectangular building spans eleven window axes and displays a mansard roof, large windows, and ornamental plaster decorations featuring female busts and vine patterns on its facade.
The current structure was built between 1798 and 1800 on top of medieval foundations. The thick stone-walled cellars beneath the building reveal that the site was occupied and used in earlier periods.
The manor has been home to different noble families over the centuries, each leaving their mark on the property. Visitors can still see traces of this changing ownership in the building's architecture and furnishings today.
The estate operates as a hotel with conference facilities, with a restaurant located in the cellar. The former stable building has been converted into an inn, providing additional overnight accommodation options.
A pigeon tower from the 1800s stands on the grounds, built with fieldstone and timber framing. A pond in the southwest area was restored in 1990 and remains a distinctive feature of the property today.
