The 32-meter tall concrete tower features an octagonal structure with an observation platform accessed through 137 steps from the museum floor.
The tower commemorates the Battle of Großbeeren on August 23, 1813, where Prussian forces prevented Napoleon's army from capturing Berlin.
The basement museum contains a diorama depicting battle scenes and exhibits detailing the military strategies employed during the Napoleonic Wars.
Visitors can access the memorial during guided tours on the second and fourth Sundays from May through September for 2 euros per adult.
The tower, constructed in 1913 using reinforced concrete, contains copper-plated dome and original inscriptions documenting the French army defeat.
