Kristalltherme Ludwigsfelde

Kristalltherme Ludwigsfelde is a thermal bath complex in the town featuring thirteen different sauna types, multiple pools with varying salt levels, and more than 14,000 square meters of developed space. The facility combines indoor and outdoor areas distributed across different temperature zones and wellness sections.

The complex was established to offer natural thermal water treatments and harness the healing properties of local mineral springs for wellness purposes in Brandenburg. It has since become a major bathing destination in the region.

The facility honors German bathing traditions through dedicated sauna areas where clothing is optional and daily infusion ceremonies take place, with specialists creating theatrical presentations of heat and steam. These rituals shape the social experience and remain central to how visitors interact with the space.

Visitors should bring sturdy footwear for outdoor areas and allow plenty of time to explore the different pools and saunas spread across the large complex. Arriving in the morning helps avoid crowds.

The water contains up to twelve percent salt concentration, allowing swimmers to float naturally like in the Dead Sea without active effort. This high salinity comes from underground mineral deposits and creates an unusual experience for bathers.
