Kriegerdenkmal Kleinkugel, War memorial in Kabelsketal, Germany.

Kriegerdenkmal Kleinkugel is a war memorial at the southern edge of the cemetery in Kleinkugel, Kabelsketal. It is a free-standing pyramid about 3.30 metres high, built of fieldstones set in cement mortar, topped by a 1.60-metre cross of unpolluted granite. The cross faces the street and bears the inscription "Danket den 1914_1918 für Kaiser und Reich gefallenen Helden mit Taten!", with a German steel helmet above and a downward-pointing sidearm below.

The memorial was erected to honor soldiers who died during World War I. The choice of military symbols on the monument reflects how war memorials were designed during that period.

The cross bears the inscription "Danket den 1914_1918 für Kaiser und Reich gefallenen Helden mit Taten!" above a steel helmet and a downward-pointing bayonet. After World War II a metal plaque reading "Wir mahnen zum Frieden" was added; it rusted and was removed after 1989 during a restoration.

The memorial stands at the southern edge of the Kleinkugel cemetery near Am Umspannwerk street and is easy to reach. Visitors can view the monument during daylight hours, as it occupies a public and accessible location.

Unlike many other war memorials from this period, the monument does not list the names or numbers of fallen soldiers from the local area. This makes it an unusual example of a general form of remembrance rather than individual commemoration.
