Neuapostolische Kirche Adlershof, New Apostolic Church in Adlershof, Berlin, Germany
The Neuapostolische Kirche Adlershof is a modern church building with an L-shaped form and a three-story clinker-brick facade. The interior features wooden pews arranged toward a mahogany altar, with a flat roof and clear, functional proportions throughout the space.
The congregation was founded in 1908 and constructed this building during the 1980s under difficult conditions in East Germany. Completion arrived in 1992, marking the end of a lengthy construction process during a period of major political change.
The congregation gathers here regularly for worship and community meetings, making the church a focal point for members in the Adlershof neighborhood. The shared faith and regular activities create strong bonds among the 190 people who call this their spiritual home.
Access to the church is provided through stairs and a wheelchair ramp at the entrance. Visitors with various mobility needs can enter the worship space without difficulty.
Inside the church is a Unico CLV4 electronic organ installed in 2013 that reproduces sounds of notable pipe organs through digital simulation. This modern instrument allows the congregation to produce a diverse range of sounds without needing to construct a full mechanical pipe organ.
