Grabpyramide, Funerary monument in Lustgarten Rheinsberg, Germany.

The Grabpyramide stands as a truncated pyramid structure with stone walls and a sealed entrance in the gardens of Rheinsberg Palace.

Prince Heinrich of Prussia received Rheinsberg Castle from his brother Frederick II in 1744 and requested this pyramid as his final resting place.

The monument incorporates French inscriptions composed by Prince Heinrich himself, reflecting philosophical thoughts about glory and human suffering.

The pyramid remains part of the palace gardens, managed by the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg, with regular opening hours for visitors.

Inside the structure rests a ceremonial tin sarcophagus containing an oak inner coffin, protected since 1854 after an attempted break-in.
