Tierpark Nymphaea is a zoo in Esslingen am Neckar with separate sections for different animal species. These areas connect through maintained pathways that run across the entire property.

The Aquarien- und Terrarienverein Nymphaea Esslingen was founded in 1905 on the initiative of the Esslingen teacher and natural scientist Max Kneile, and has run the park on a voluntary basis ever since. The city of Esslingen leased the site in 1932, and the park arose on the island formed after the power plant and its canal were built. The trees were therefore planted only after 1932.

The name Nymphaea comes from the Latin word for water lilies. The park is run by the Aquarien- und Terrarienverein Nymphaea Esslingen, founded in 1905 on the initiative of the teacher and natural scientist Max Kneile; members care for the animals and grounds on a voluntary basis. In 2024 the association had 170 members, including about 50 adults and 30 young people.

The zoo is accessible by public transportation with parking available near the entrance. Wheelchair-friendly paths throughout the grounds allow visitors of all abilities to explore comfortably.
