Initially constructed in 1947, the facility expanded with a larger grandstand in 1970 and transformed into a horseshoe configuration during the late 1970s.
The stadium functions as the primary venue for Atromitos Football Club matches in the Greek Super League, fostering local sports development.
Visitors can reach the stadium via the Agios Antonios metro station or by taking bus route 821 from central Athens.
The venue recorded its highest attendance of 13,099 spectators during a match against Olympiacos Football Club on January 11, 1981.
