The Temple of Hera is an ancient Archaic Greek temple at Olympia, Greece.
Built in approximately 590 BC, it was the oldest temple at the site of Olympia.
It was dedicated to Hera, the wife of Zeus and one of the most important female deities in Greek religion.
Today, it's a significant archaeological site attracting numerous tourists each year.
The Temple of Hera is where the Olympic flame is lit for the modern Olympic Games.
