Vasilitsa, Mountain summit in Pindus range, Greece
Vasilitsa is a mountain summit in the Pindus range that rises to 2,200 meters in elevation. The slopes are covered with dense black pine forests and feature steep rock formations throughout.
Development of this site began in 1975 with construction of the Elimeia lift as its first infrastructure project. This marked the start of its transformation into a modern winter sports destination.
Local mountain communities maintain traditional winter festivals near Vasilitsa summit, celebrating the region's connection to alpine activities and customs.
The site has five lifts serving 16 runs of varying difficulty levels, with a vertical drop of 450 meters for skiing. Visitors should plan for winter conditions and changing mountain weather.
Two ski runs here meet international competition standards set by the International Ski Federation. This makes them training grounds for athletic competitions and international events.
