Center of New Industries and Technologies, Convention center in La Défense, France

The CNIT features a triangular structure with concrete vault reaching 50 meters high, supported at three points spaced 218 meters apart.

Inaugurated by General Charles de Gaulle in 1958, CNIT marked the beginning of development in La Défense district as the first building constructed there.

The building's architecture, designed by Robert Camelot, Jean de Mailly, and Bernard Zehrfuss, represents French advancement in construction techniques during the 1950s.

The center contains three amphitheaters, 21 multipurpose rooms, shops, restaurants, offices, and the Hilton Hotel, accessible through La Defense metro station.

The structure holds the record for the largest unsupported concrete span enclosed space worldwide, utilizing an innovative double-shelled design.
