Centre de la mémoire d'Oradour

The Centre de la mémoire is a memorial museum in the destroyed village with exhibitions displaying documents, photographs, and film material about the site's history. The spaces are designed so visitors move between modern exhibition areas and the remains of the original houses.

The village was destroyed in 1944 during World War II, and the museum was later established to preserve this history. The site now stands as a memorial, emphasizing the importance of remembering such events.
