Louviers

Louviers is an administrative commune located in Normandy within the Eure department, positioned along the Seine River valley. The settlement features a Gothic church at its center and spreads across terrain shaped by river plains and agricultural land.

Archaeological findings reveal that people inhabited this region during the Stone Age, leaving behind cut stones and mammoth bones. The settlement later gained prosperity during the Middle Ages through cloth production, which brought traders and workers from neighboring areas.
