Alhambra, Music theatre in 10th arrondissement, France
The Alhambra is a music theatre in the 10th arrondissement with a modern concrete and steel structure housing a performance space. The auditorium accommodates approximately 600 seated guests and up to 800 people standing during concerts.
The building was constructed in 1933 as a theatre space for railway workers and later fell into disuse. It was rediscovered in 2005 and underwent major renovation work in 2008.
The venue today hosts diverse live music acts from hip-hop and jazz to blues and world genres. It has become a place where different musical styles and audiences come together for performances.
The theatre is easily accessible by public transport and located near the original Alhambra site. You can book tickets online or purchase them at the box office for convenient scheduling of your visit.
The monumental staircase ascending to the balcony is the last surviving piece of the original 1933 Art Deco design. It showcases the elegant craftsmanship of that early architectural era.
