Passerelle de la Grange-aux-Belles

The steel truss structure spans across the Canal Saint-Martin, providing pedestrians with direct access between the eastern and western banks of the waterway.

The bridge was constructed during the late 19th century as part of infrastructure developments supporting commercial activities along the Canal Saint-Martin.

The bridge bears the name of French actress Arletty, connecting neighborhoods while offering views toward the Place de la Bastille and its July Column.

Visitors can reach the bridge via Metro lines 5 at Quai de la Rapee station or lines 1, 5, and 8 at Bastille station.

The footbridge provides observation points of the marina established in the 1980s, where approximately 200 pleasure boats dock throughout the year.
