Laon Cathedral

The cathedral features five towers with four rose windows positioned on each cardinal direction, incorporating advanced structural elements and double-arched passageways.

Construction of the cathedral began in 701, underwent major reconstruction after a fire in 1112, and reached completion in 1230 under Gautier de Mortagne.
