Musée de l'Aventure Peugeot

The Musée de l'Aventure Peugeot displays over 130 vehicles, about 50 bicycles, motorcycles, and more than 3,000 other objects across 8,000 square meters of exhibition space. The collection covers the full range of manufacturing from early craft products to modern automobiles.

The museum was founded in 1988 and documents the company's development starting from 1810 when it began as a tool maker. From this craft-based origin, it later expanded into diverse products and finally the automotive industry that made the company known worldwide.

The collection shows products from different fields like coffee grinders, sewing machines, and bicycles that reflect the company's diverse manufacturing across three centuries. These objects tell the story of craft tradition and industrial development in France.

The museum is open daily and gives visitors time to explore all areas at a comfortable pace. It's wise to plan several hours to properly appreciate the extensive collection.

The museum runs a restoration workshop where specialists preserve and repair historical vehicles. Visitors get a rare glimpse into the meticulous handwork needed to bring old machines back to working condition.
