The construction of Saint-François-de-Sales Church took place between 1747 and 1748, funded independently by the Bandol community following their initiative on March 25, 1746.
The church displays intricate wrought iron work designed by Edgar Brandt, combining religious architecture with detailed craftsmanship throughout its structure.
The church maintains regular religious services with multiple masses scheduled during weekends and remains accessible to visitors throughout the year.
Two side chapels were added to complement the main nave, including one built by the Saint-Elme Fraternity of Fishermen and another by the Saint Vincent de Paul fraternity.
