Stade Louis Dugauguez is the main football ground of Sedan, built in 2000 on the site of an athletics track beside the old Stade Émile-Albeau. Its four covered stands hold 24,389 seated spectators, and the presidential stand houses a 60-desk press area, 192 VIP seats, 708 loge seats and two reception rooms. The pitch is grass, floodlit at 1,457 lux.
The stadium opened in 2000 and replaced the earlier Stade Emile Albeau as the new home for football in the city. It was designed as a modern facility to serve the region's sporting needs.
The stadium is named after Louis Dugauguez (1918–1991), a player-coach at CS Sedan Ardennes from 1948 to 1952 and then coach until 1975, nearly 28 years at the club. He led Sedan to French Cup wins in 1956 and 1961 and managed the France national team from summer 1967 to summer 1968. On 29 June 2016 the ground hosted its first concert, Johnny Hallyday, drawing 17,000 people.
