The Notre-Dame church features a three-level elevation with pointed arcades, tribunes, and a triforium encircling the entire stone structure.
Built between the 11th and 13th centuries, this former Benedictine monastery transformed into a parish church during the French Revolution in 1789.
The western portal's tympanum displays detailed 13th-century stone carvings depicting scenes from the Virgin Mary's life and local saints' martyrdom.
The church measures 65 meters in length, with a 9-meter-wide central nave and a 26-meter-long transept containing multiple side chapels.
A medieval reclusoir cell within the church provided space for individuals seeking spiritual isolation while maintaining proximity to the religious community.
