Caves of Thouzon

The cave functions as an earth science museum, displaying geological processes through its underground river bed and mineral formations spanning 60 million years.

Tours last 45 minutes with temperatures remaining at 13°C year-round, making warm clothing necessary for visitors exploring the underground passages.

The cave contains balance pillars, cones of rocks, clogged joints, wells, meanders, and flint nodules that formed through crystallization processes 60 million years ago.
