La Vallée des Singes

La Vallée des Singes is a primate park near Romagne where about 450 primates live across 18 different zones without cages or barriers between visitors and animals. The landscape is designed to mimic the natural habitats of each species.

The park was created to house primates in open spaces and has become an important place for breeding and caring for these animals. Since it opened, hundreds of primates have been born there and the facility partners with organizations worldwide.

The place allows visitors to watch primates in settings that reflect their natural ways of living, observing how different species interact and behave. You can follow feeding sessions and see how the animals function as groups within the open territories.

The park is open to visitors during the warmer months, and it is wise to wear comfortable shoes and plan time for walking between the different zones. Bring water and sun protection, as you will spend hours outdoors.

The park is one of the few places outside Africa where a larger group of bonobos lives, making it something special in Europe. These rare apes can be watched here because the facility focuses specifically on their care and protection.
