La Vallée des Singes, Primate park in Romagne, France.

The zoo spans 16 hectares featuring 400 animals across 30 primate species living on landscaped islands surrounded by water channels.

Wim Mager established La Vallée des Singes in 1998, following his creation of Apenheul Primate Park in the Netherlands, the first free-roaming primate facility.

La Vallée des Singes maintains the largest group of bonobos in captivity, contributing to international research and education about primate behavior.

Visitors can explore marked trails throughout the park from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends, observing primates in their naturalistic habitats.

The facility houses rare species including Western lowland gorillas, mandrills, and pygmy marmosets, supporting European conservation breeding programs.
