Cigoland, Theme park in Kintzheim, France
Cigoland combines a theme park and zoo, featuring rides, attractions, and numerous stork nests spread throughout the grounds.
The park opened in eastern France to protect and preserve white storks, which had nearly disappeared from Alsace during the 1970s.
The park presents daily circus performances and theater shows that incorporate local Alsatian folklore and traditions into their storylines.
The park operates from March to November, with extended hours during summer months and special events during Halloween season.
Visitors can observe white storks nesting in their natural habitat while enjoying rides and entertainment within the same location.
