Château de Myrat, Second Growth classified wine estate in Barsac, France

The vineyards spread across a limestone plateau known as Haut-Barsac, with clay soil covering a natural limestone drainage system.

The estate traces its origins to the 16th century and was acquired in 1937 by Count Max de Pontac, continuing his family's wine tradition.

The production follows strict Sauternes wine regulations, using a blend of 88% Semillon, 8% Sauvignon Blanc, and 4% Muscadelle grapes.

The estate offers guided tours where visitors can learn about wine production methods and taste their renowned sweet white wines.
