The park extends over 9 hectares with trails along the Ru des Godets stream and around the Etang du Soleil lake for outdoor activities.
The land belonged to Marquis de Castries until the French Revolution, with the current Chateau Saran constructed on the grounds in 1880.
The park contains the grave of François Molé, an important figure of 18th-century French theater, and bears the name of Georges Heller.
Five entrances provide access to the park daily from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM, with facilities including football fields, basketball courts, and ping-pong tables.
The park features over 50 tree species, including Cercis siliquastrum and Liriodendron tulipifera, contributing to local biodiversity.
