The Grosbois Training Center spans 412 hectares and provides specialized facilities for trotting horses just 15 kilometers from Paris-Vincennes racecourse. The grounds include multiple racing tracks, a covered track for year-round use, veterinary services, and educational facilities.
In 1962, the French Horse Racing Society purchased the Grosbois estate, which included a 17th-century brick and stone castle, to establish this training facility. This transformation of the historic property developed it into one of Europe's premier harness racing training centers.
The center houses Europe's largest museum dedicated to harness racing history, with exhibits and archives that document how this equestrian discipline developed over time.
